About the Role:
Packback is looking for an passionate and creative Social Media & Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and marketing strategy within an innovative and mission-driven EdTech company.
In this role, you’ll help shape Packback’s brand presence across social platforms, working directly with our Senior Marketing Manager to engage our audience and amplify our message. Because this position plays a direct role in how we present ourselves to the public, a short social media project will be part of the interview process.
What You’ll Do:
- Draft, design, and schedule engaging social media posts, graphics, and videos to share across Packback’s platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) at least three times per week.
- Use design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite to create visually compelling graphics, and edit short-form videos for social engagement.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages, fostering meaningful interactions with our audience.
- Support promoting webinars, sponsored events, and conferences to boost participation and engagement.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in refining and executing marketing strategies by setting objectives, organizing materials, and maintaining the content calendar.
- Stay up to date on trends in education, AI, and digital marketing, providing insights to inform content and campaigns.
- Assist with various administrative tasks and small projects to support the Senior Marketing Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience creating graphics in Canva or other relevant design tools (required).
- Experience editing videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools (required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for brand voice and messaging.
- An understanding of social media trends and how to creatively apply them to an organization’s strategy.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to test new ideas and experiment with content formats.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in corporate social media or marketing (preferred but not required).
Salary: $15-17 per hour, depending on experience
